Pharma Partner is associated with the German company, Dr. May Pharma Consult GmbH primarily focused on M&A. The CEO, Dr. Manfred Alexandre May, graduated in Economics at the University of Marburg in 1969. In 1972 he got a PhD degree from this institution. He initiated his career at the German Beecham in 1973. In 1976 he took over the position of Managing Director for pharmaceutical business at Merck in Brazil. He returned to Germany in 1984 where he was appointed Director for Merck’s pharmaceutical operations world-wide. In December 1996, Dr. May has set up his own company based upon his 33 years of professional expertise in the pharmaceutical industry. Both companies, Pharma Partner and Dr. May Pharma Consult act jointly in a concerted way with the goal of optimizing synergies resulting from their specific competences and business relationships, the former pertaining to Latin-American markets and the latter to European markets.
